Happy Easter!

Thankfully, I won't have to go in today. Although, maybe I should have, but I knew Mom would be pissed if I worked today. Frankly, yesterday was a really long day. Busy too.

However, the storm didn't start up til after I got home so I had to listen to her be so mad about me going to a BBQ with Lou to his grandparents tonight.

I'll practically be with her the whole day.

I saw Steve yesterday. He came in. I thought he did all his shopping at Wal-mart. Guess not.

It was awkward, but I didn't feel totally freaked. He was naturally evasive. Does the guy ever make small talk? I ended up asking the questions, like how's your grandma, your mom & Staff.

I don't know how he's doing at all. And I'm pretty sure he doesn't want me to know. No "See ya" or nothing.

For a second, I wished I'd had Lou nibbling on my ear while I was talking to him. Like that was going to happen at a grocery store behind the cigarette & Lotto counter.

Then there is that part of me who really really needs to apologize to him because I don't think he knows I cheated on him. Has no clue. Like this was all his doing.

But what difference would it make right now. No need to rehash something like that, especially on a holiday.

Anyway, better find that mayo cake recipe. I want to do something with it & cool whip along with chocolate pudding today.
