It was so windy yesterday, now its cloudy and possible storms later.
Oh, what fun.
And I burned the biscuit bottoms this morning. I want to blame it on the oven not me.
I read that if you fry sausage, you should put water in the pan to let them cook so they won't cook to fast. At least I did that right.
We went to see In the Land of Women. No, there are no giant Amazon women trying to take over the world in this film. I have to say, the title does not give the film justice. Also, you can't say who the film is targeted for. And then there is the controvery of a 26 year old with a 16 year old. Or so I had heard, but that really isn't the case at all in the movie, staring O.C's Adam Brody, who's a soft porn script writer who comes to Michigan to take care of his grandmother who thinks she is near death. There he meets the family across the street, Meg Ryan and her daughters. Soon after a dog walk or two with Meg he learns the family secrets. He learns the same secrets from Kirsten Stewart (the daughter) as well.
It definitely has some funny moments. Brody just can't help himself to be his natural self which makes him very likable.
Its a sad film in places, yet very real for the most part. Its a film worth watching.
