babette blanket

I'm no artist, and yet I feel like one. But I get so testy when I don't seem to have the patiences. I know you have to have a lot of time to practice on what you do... to hope you get where you want to be(I guess). Except, I wonder, does it just happen accidently for some, or they just born with it, or its so easy, they can't help themselves because its their passion?
For instance, Logan can pick up a guitar and just play what he heard on the radio. Would he make a life of this? No, he says that would just be to easy.
Just throw a natural talent away like that. Because he would only do it..if he was absolutely bored.
And me, well, I get tangled up in yarn. I had seen a babette blanket, I'd love to make. Except, I suck at granny squares. And I have no idea how its put together. Its an art of patchwork. Big granny squares, small granny squares. There are no set boundries, except the granny squares.
Well, I've decided to just go for squares. That way I can practice on borders so when I have to put the border on this throw that I'm spending countless nights on..will, actually be a smooth border.
But I'm just having trouble getting my odds and ends yarn out of choas around here. Logan has to help me me untangle the yarn. I'm that helpless..or either, he just doesn't mind.
Of course, I couldn't even be doing this at all if Jeremy were around because according to him, it would be just a waste of time.
